How many of you as children enjoyed eating your veggies just because Mum said they were good for you? How much quicker would your attitude have changed if your best friend had dared you to eat them? Or if eating brussel sprouts had suddenly become the latest craze in your class? Students want to socialize and learn, and they are more likely to take in that information if it comes from someone that they can relate to. Let’s discover how we can harness the power of positive peer pressure in the classroom. We’ll discuss the theory behind the idea and then take a look at some case studies and how to put the theory into practice in the classroom and motivate the motivators!
