For teachers and learners alike, endlessly answering multiple choice questions after every single text can quickly become demotivating and a poor measure of comprehension. In this workshop, we’ll explore ways to help Advanced and Proficiency students develop their reading strategies, with the ultimate goal of maximising exam performance.  In addition to working with exam material, we’ll look at activities with authentic materials that can be used both in class by teachers as well as autonomously by students.  These can help foster the habits and skills that can then be employed in the high-pressure environment of examinations.
