Laura Darby

Laura began her move into language teaching in 2003 when she relocated to Barcelona. Her love of both learning and teaching languages motivated her to complete an MA in Translation Studies and she takes special interest in how Catalan speakers learn English. Apart from preparing students for Cambridge English exams, Laura directs and teaches in the extra-curricular programme in the Collserola Foundation Primary schools and she works with Exams Catalunya as a seminar presenter and Speaking Examiner Team Leader for Young Learners, A2 Key & B1 Preliminary. Her focus lately has been aimed at motivating young learners and teens.
